Clone Me
The most difficult part of the project was editing the photo to make it look like it was a real photo. I overcame these problems by learning how to best use the Photoshop tools to help out. If I redid this project I would probably space out the area of my photos better so they did not overlap.

Game Drawing
I thought my game drawing came out pretty good. I think I used the watercolor very well and it looked pretty cool. I had to learn to use light washes and blend with colored pencils. I overlapped some of the cards and it matched with the horizon and vanishing points. The perspective was hard to get right but I think I did well. The value was shown well using proper highlights and shadows. I learned how to use watercolors and how to create perspective.
Anamorphosis
1.
Describe the process you went through to change your object into the
correct perspective to create the drawing. This is when you were in the
lab. In photoshop we had to transform and scale it to make it so the bottom was bigger than the top.
2. How did distorting and stretching the object allow for you to create a drawing that would look different to the viewer? It changed the perspective that you look at it and with the grid it made it easier to draw.
3. What were the most important concepts in the project to make it successful? During the colored pencil anamorphosis it was important to show proper shadows and value.
Stencil
1. Explain how you changed your photo in the lab to create a stencil. We changed the threshold in photoshop to create it to be big enough and look right so we can cut it out.
2.
When creating the collage background explain your choices of colors,
materials (magazine paper, books pages, etc), and placement. How does it
relate to your topic? If no relation discuss general idea.
I tried to use bright colors that were kind of contrasting because I imagine Easter colors as bright.
I tried to use bright colors that were kind of contrasting because I imagine Easter colors as bright.
3. Discuss the way positive and negative space was used to create your stencil. I used positive and negative space to create my stencil when i was cutting out the parts that needed to have black and parts that didn't.
4.
When using the xacto knife, explain the safety procedures, how to use
the knife and any challenges you had to overcome while cutting. You had to always put the cap back on the xacto knife and be very careful not to press down to hard or else is wouldn't be effective. I had to get used to turning it because it was hard to do.

Printmaking
1. Describe the overall composition of your artwork (balance, unity, rhythm and movement). It was pretty balanced and contrasted nicely. The feathers on the bird went upward and curved a little.
2. How did you add texture and contrast to your print? Is this important? Why? I added texture and contrast b cutting out certain parts. It is important because it makes it flow better and make it more distinctive.
3. Explain how you used positive and negative space to show your image. I used postive and negative space by leaving some parts open and it could contrast better.
4. Describe the craftsmanship of your print. (How good the project is technically crafted) I think it is crafted well. I worked hard on the design and cut it well.
5. Were you able to achieve depth by showing a foreground, middle ground and back- ground? Explain. Yes, because the foreground was the bird, the middle ground was the tree/leaves, and the background was the rest of the open space.
6. Explain your experience with Printmaking. What were the obstacles and advantages? It was fun experimenting with printmaking. The obstacles were making it too low cut and making sure it didn't smudge. Some advantages were that I made good texture and the body looked good.

1. Why is texture so important to have in your sketches? It shows the skin and the way it looks in more definition.
2. Why is it neccessary for you to have several references of each animal and each background? Explain. It is necessary so that you can refer to the pictures to help you draw instead of just doing it from your mind. It can help you be more detailed.
3. When you look at your sketches are you able to see which sketch is
the strongest and will make the best print? How do you know this? Yes, it will be the one with the best contrast and not too sophisticated but still a little bit sophisticated.
1. Explain your experience working on a team and executing your ideas for the mural. We all contributed to making a bunch of ideas and picking which one to use. We worked well together and had fun. We determined who would do each job.
2. Explain the importance of collaboration when working on a team. It is very important to be able to work together and be able to execute an idea and all have different jobs.It is important to be friends so that we can focus on art. If we don't work together and give each other ideas, it won't be as good.
3. How successful was this project? Explain how and why. I think that this project was pretty successful. We made our idea come to life off of the paper and it looked pretty good. We used a variety of colors and it added a good contrast.
4. Explain how you feel about creating artwork that others can interact with. Ex. Invoving the whole school? I think it was fun and it led to some pretty creative ones around the school. It was fun making it and seeing what other people could come up with. It was fun to see just walking around the school and gave you something to look at.
